- Crown Quartz slabs are supplied with the following warranty terms and conditions:
- Crown Quartz warrants that the material will remain free from any slab manufacturing defects for a period of 10 Years.
- The 10 year Limited Warranty begins from the date of installation and is only applicable to the original owner, the warranty can’t be transferred
- The Crown Quartz warranty does not cover the following items:
- Any damages/defects resulting from the handling, fabrication, installation and use of the product.
- The warranty does not cover defects arising from improper use and handling of the slabs.
- The warranty does not cover defects present in the final product, slabs must be inspected prior to manufacture by the fabricator.
- The slabs are manufactured using natural materials and the warranty does not cover any colour and quartz distribution variations in the slabs. The shine and reflectivity of the slabs may also vary. Variations observed by looking at the surface against the light are not regarded as defects. Variations may exist between slabs and also within the individual slab.
- The warranty does not cover any damages that may result from the placement of hot items directly onto the surface of the material.
- The warranty does not cover any damages including fading and discolorations that may result from the installation in or near direct sunlight. The product is intended for indoor use only.
- The warranty does not cover any chipping of the stone. This is not a fault of the material but a result of improper use and/or handling.
- The warranty does not cover any cracks in the slabs. Cracking is not a material fault and is normally the result of events such as a strong impact/blow, movements (inc. floors, walls & cabinetry), effects from heat, cut-out effects and not limited to these.
- The warranty does not cover defects resulting from the fabrication of the bench tops, incorrect fabrication is not the responsibility of Crown Quartz.
- The warranty does not cover defects resulting from the improper use and care of the product.
- Crown Quartz must be notified of any warranty claims within 21 days from the day the defect was initially noticed. Information can be forwarded to Lot 10 Angle Vale Crs, Burton, SA 5110. Alternatively by email on warranty@crownquartz.com.au
- Crown Quartz management will investigate warranty claims and decide the outcome on a case by case basis. Crown Quartz management may decide to supply some replacement material to the client’s nominated stone mason under a warranty claim. Crown Quartz will not be liable for any of the following costs or expenses:
- other trades/services required
- fabrication, transportation and installation of the replacement material and
- Any other costs incurred relating to the replacement material
